La bataille d\u2019Al\u00adger, <\/em>de de Gillo Pon\u00adtecor\u00advo, Italie\/Alg\u00e9rie, 1966, 120 mn, avec Brahim Had\u00adjadj, Jean Mar\u00adtin, Yacef Saadi<\/span>

Syn\u00adop\u00adsis <\/strong>
\nLes para\u00adchutistes du colonel Math\u00adieu cer\u00adnent, en octo\u00adbre 1957, la planque d\u2019Ali la Pointe, act\u00adif par\u00adti\u00adsan du mou\u00adve\u00adment ind\u00e9pen\u00addan\u00adtiste alg\u00e9rien. Le mil\u00adi\u00adtant se rem\u00e9\u00admore son par\u00adcours. De petit d\u00e9lin\u00adquant, il devient rapi\u00adde\u00adment l\u2019un des chefs de la gu\u00e9ril\u00adla urbaine qui d\u00e9chire Alger en 1954.
Tourn\u00e9 en 1965, trois ans seule\u00adment apr\u00e8s l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie, La Bataille d\u2019Alger<\/em> dresse un tableau impliqu\u00e9 des vio\u00adlences de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1957, entre les actions arm\u00e9es du Front de lib\u00e9ra\u00adtion nationale (FLN) et la r\u00e9pres\u00adsion de l\u2019organisation par l\u2019arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise. Com\u00adman\u00addit\u00e9 par le nou\u00adv\u00adel \u00c9tat alg\u00e9rien, le film est par\u00adfois d\u00e9crit comme con\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adant les pre\u00admi\u00e8res images alg\u00e9ri\u00adennes de la guerre d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance.
Qua\u00adsi doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adtaire dans son esth\u00e9\u00adtique et dans sa mani\u00e8re de pr\u00e9sen\u00adter les choix strat\u00e9giques du FLN et ceux de l\u2019arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise La Bataille d\u2019Alger a par\u00adfois \u00e9t\u00e9 re\u00e7u comme un manuel d\u2019insurrection et de contre-insurrection.<\/span>\n

Gillo Pon\u00adtecor\u00advo, le r\u00e9al\u00adisa\u00adteur, \u00e0 pro\u00adpos de son film : \u00ab J\u2019ai ten\u00adt\u00e9 le pari de l\u2019authenticit\u00e9 en refu\u00adsant tout \u201ceffet cin\u00e9\u00admatographique\u201d. J\u2019ai essay\u00e9, au con\u00adtraire, de don\u00adner au spec\u00adta\u00adteur le sen\u00adti\u00adment d\u2019\u00eatre pr\u00e9sent et de vivre l\u2019histoire \u00e0 cet instant pr\u00e9cis.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9al\u00adisa\u00adteur <\/strong>
C\u2019est surtout un film puis\u00adsam\u00adment lyrique, tra\u00adver\u00ads\u00e9 par les vis\u00adages de celles et ceux qui ont gag\u00adn\u00e9 l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance, et mar\u00adqu\u00e9 par leur intensit\u00e9.<\/span>
\nGillo Pon\u00adtecor\u00advo est n\u00e9 le 19 novem\u00adbre 1919 \u00e0 Flo\u00adrence, Ital\u00adie. Il \u00e9tait r\u00e9al\u00adisa\u00adteur et sc\u00e9\u00adnar\u00adiste. Il est con\u00adnu pour La bataille d\u2019Al\u00adger<\/em> (1966), Kap\u00f2<\/em> (1960) et Op\u00e9ra\u00adtion Ogre<\/em> (1979).  Il est mort le 12 octo\u00adbre 2006 en Italie.<\/p>\n
